Darlene Dansby, RN, FNP, MSN, CLNC, is the founder and president of Dansby & Associates Medical Consulting, LLC.  She has over 15 years experience in the health care field, having worked as a registered nurse and a family nurse practitioner. She is trained to diagnose, treat, and manage the care of patients. With her knowledge and skills, she is well-equipped to provide a greater sense of the medical issues from a health provider prospective.

She is an expert in medical record review and analysis and is knowledgeable with the inner workings of the healthcare system. She is an asset and brings her experience, education, professionalism, and commitment to the litigation team.

• Experience:  critical care/medical surgical nursing, surgical intensive care, post anesthesia care, emergency room, cardiac care, school nursing, utilization review, and quality management, primary care, internal medicine, nephrology, rehabilitative center, pain management, psychiatry, and occupational health.

• Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner, Legal Nurse Consultant Diploma and Certification, and Case Management Training.

• Professionalism: includes strong oral and written communication skills as demonstrated through experience as a university nursing professor and Toastmaster club member.

• Commitment: involved in community services and a member of the American Legal Nurse Consultant Association, National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, and Academy College of Nurse Practitioners.
